Leather Care

Your fine leather furniture may contain variations and nuances of shading, color, and the unevenness or roughness of texture which give this product its unique personality and are not to be considered as imperfections. Your Henredon product may have undergone a special distressing process to give it a weathered appearance. The durability of this product is in no way impaired by this process; rather, it will only continue to become better and more personal with age.

Aniline and Protected Leathers
Cleaning Code A and P

Areas of a hide absorb dyes differently, so some color variation is normal. Scars and branding marks are natural markings and are not considered flaws.

Try to maintain at least 2 feet between your furniture and heating sources. Do not place your furniture in windows, under skylights, or in sunrooms.

All materials are subject to fading over time. ANILINE leathers are especially sensitive to sunlight.

The application of a leather protectant cream will greatly improve the leather’s resistance to staining and soiling. It is important that you treat high use areas like the seats, arms and backs.

Fully clean your furniture with a soft cleaner and re-protect with a protection cream every six months to remove dirt as well as gradual accumulation of body oils and perspiration. For oil based stains, use a leather degreaser.

Do not use any other products that are not recommended as they may negatively affect the leathers surface.
